Today the weather was warmer and sunnier than it has been lately. It was about 55 degrees farenheit. Our class thought today was a great day to observe our tulips! We have 17 students in our class and 17 tulips have sprouted. It has been a long time since we planted our tulip bulbs and we are excited that each student has a tulip to measure! Most of the tulips were 2 inches tall. The tallest tulip was 4 inches tall. Most of the tulip plants had green leaves with purple edges. The leaves were curled shut.
