Spotted a large monarch today. It was flying leisurely around, looking for milkweed I suppose. It is the first monarch I have seen all year due to the cold wet winter down here. Usually see a few during a warm winter. Looking forward to seeing more. The wildflowers are in bloom so there is food for the new migrators.
