We saw red pointy sprouts emerging from the soil. They are bigger at the bottom and smaller at the top. The red pointy sprouts look a little like horns or the beginning of antlers on a baby deer. There was lots of water around because it rained today and the snow is melting. Some of the emerging tulips were in pools of water. We are worried that they will rot and die. Some of our tulip bulbs are still under the snow and we wonder what is happening under there. We are going to go out to our garden once a week to see what is happening.
