I found several robins along route 80 next to H. Moyer Rd. No singing was heard. This is one of three flocks I observed driving from Albany to Little Falls staying south of the Mohawk. The other two, I saw in Newville. Through the whole trip lawns where vacant and I didn't here any singing. Most lawns had some exposed ground. I saw mostly blackbirds perched on powerlines. My route started in Guilderland. I took US20 to Sloansville, SR162 to Sprakers, SR5s to Canajoharie, SR80 to Van Hornesville, and followed some backroads back to Little Falls. They may be singing A little, but it's definitely not aggressive and they are still in flocks.
