2 days ago the snow finally melted off of our garden beds, but there were no tulips to see. Today, with temperatures in the low 60's, we saw emerged tulips. We have about 8 tulips that have emerged in our "regular" garden, and 1 that has emerged from our "oddball" garden. That particular bulb soaked in vegetable oil for a few hours prior to being planted! The kids can't wait to check back tomorrow to see if more are coming or how tall the new plants will be.
