Have several feeders outside my kitchen window in an apple tree. Each morning I enjoy watching my new friends and yesterday, March 10, much to my supprise I had a group of redwinged blackbirds feeding. Snow quickly melting and my property has many springs and a pond in close proximity to the feeders. I'm not sure if the abundancy of water or just a quick stopover for a good meal. I live very close to the PA/NY border about 2 hrs. from Buffalo, NY.
