While many of the other fourth graders' tulips have emerged ours have just started to emerge. Today we saw three that had emerged from the planting bed. All three tulips that have emerged have been tulips we experimented on, but one fourth grade test bulb has emerged (not a test bulb from our class). Today's temperature is 42 degrees Farenheit and the humidity is 82%. The soil is saturated and is like a soggy sponge (we just used a simile). Earlier in the week the temperatures rose to the high 50s, but we are currently experiencing a cold front with a chance of snow comming. We are leaving for spring break and are excited to see if our tulips survive the cold weather and snow.
