Hummingbird, Rufous (FIRST)

Date: 03/15/2010

Number: 1

Spring is early this year. The Red-Flowering currant is already in bloom and the Evening Grosbeaks are here is droves. So I put up my hummingbird feeders yesterday and thought it might take another week for them to arrive. I looked up a few minutes ago and a beautiful male rufous was taking a sip. This is the earliest I've ever seen them arrive!
