Tulips EMERGED

Date: 03/16/2010

Number: 1

We noticed that three tulips have emerged and are growing. They are as small as a thumb and about an inch tall. This year's tulips are much later coming up than last year's bulbs which we left in the ground. Last year's tulips came up 2 weeks ago. Their leaves are curly and getting greener. Some of them have water from last weekend's rain contained inside the cup formed by their leaves. Cody thinks they will bloom on April 5th.
