The Gibbs Park Restoration is almost complete with our South bed being planted. We now have over 1,000 feet of flower beds. We have one more eagle scout project to replace any dead trees in the park. The weather has been extremely rainy and cold this winter. I did observe a few butterflies in the beds during sunny periods. Volunteers are watering the trees and tending the beds. We tagged over 150 butterflies this year through Monarch Alert. The park looks spectacular. We are hopeing to see some overwintering butterflies this year.
