the weather is soooo wet and windy and the low pressure front has arrived - the wind has changed direction and is blowing strongly from the northwest- BUT - this morning the cedar trees around the back yard were filled with songbirds- lots of warbler-types (I'm not that good at individual species recognition yet)... they must have arrived during the night. they are feeding in the cedars and at the feeder. the world is full of sound this morning. the red wing blackbird from yesterday has some southern friends!!!
