I live in Daytona Beach, FL but maintain a corporate apartment in Columbia, MD, just west of Baltimore. At 6:45 pm on 3/17/10 I observed a male Northern (Baltimore) Oriole in an elm tree just off my second-floor porch. He sat in the tree for a couple minutes, and two of us were able to enjoy his beautiful colors and call. I plan to throw some bits of yarn out on the porch near the suet feeder hoping that he'll think the elm tree is a great place to build a nest !!
