Huge mature Bald Eagle regally sitting on top of the tallest bare tree (80-100'tall) in a recently harvested wood lot. He was swiveling his head checking out the area which was filled with large puddles from the four inches of rain we had two days ago. He was quite impressive and in looking at last years observations I saw this one two weeks earlier than last year's sighting, and about 10 miles east of last year's sighting. A pleasure!
