I was SURPRISED to have found the eagle standing in a snow covered farm field. I had heard that you can find them flying around or look for them in the tree tops. The eagle was standing in a field at a crossroads off a gravel road. I never expected that they would land that close to a populated area. I had seen the eagle flying around as I was out with a camera that day and had been hoping capture a photograph of him in the air. However, I was not able to get the shot I wanted and it was on the way back home that I glanced to see the eagle in the field. I was able to take pictures of him/her before it headed off.
