I had put a feeder out on 3/14/10 in anticipation of our hummers' return since we've had such a mild winter this year, and the flowering trees are in full bloom throughout our valley. Today, around noon, the first male came to the feeder. Typically, we have 3-4 males, so I'll put the other feeders out in an effort to keep squabbling to a minimum!
