A limited area. First earthworms spotted when I cleaned leaves away from my house on the south side.

A new development: neighborhood has observed a group of Robins that now stay the whole winter.Approx. 10-14. Last two winters observed Robins OBSERVING EARTHWORMS in small area where overflow from heating system provides a constant drip of warm water onto southern exposure hillside. It's loaded with fat earthworms. Kind of 'hydroponically-growing earthworms. Hm-m-m, an idea for others living in our northern climes.
