Staff at the Virginia Living Museum report that the first Journey North tulips planted in the museum's Children's Learning Garden by our Bluebirds class fo age 4 & 5 year olds bloomed today. It took a few days of temperatures in the 60s and 70s to do it! The bloom was 3 days later than we predicted. The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998.
