The morning of March 20th, I heard the first soft 'clucking' sounds of a robin somewhere in the woods near my house. But I have not seen a robin yet or heard a full song. This is the earliest that I have heard a robin in my neighborhood. A close relative - the varied thrush, has been singing it's phone ringing-like song for about a week.
