I was visiting my family in my hometown and we were all enjoying lovely mild spring weather. My mother had just cleaned out her heated birdbath. My sister elsewhere in town had phoned to say she had a robin outside her kitchen window so I looked out in my mom's garden in time to see a robin happily splashing in the birdbath. Today (the 23rd) I saw at least a dozen in a local park on my way to work (farther south than the reported sighting). Happy Spring!
