Hello from Mr. Gullickson's 4th/5th grade classroom in Albany, Oregon. Our school, Central Elementary, is located in the heart of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Our 1st Tulips have finally begun to bloom! Hazaa! It took a total of 37 days for our 1st tulip to emerge and a total of 60 days for our 1st tulip to bloom. Our most recent daily temperatures have been unseasonable warm - average daily afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 50's. We hope your school has enjoyed your Journey North gardening project this year as much as we have. Have a great rest of the school year. See you next year!
