We read a poem, 'Ode to Spring' by Walter Brooks today. It is sunny and 7 degrees Celsius. We were really hoping to see our tulips and FINALLY ... our tulips have emerged!!!

At first the garden looked brown and dreary but upon closer inspection ... we found 15 shoots and four worms. We observed by looking at the entire garden and then 'zooming in' with our hand lenses.

We wonder how long it will be until we see flowers!
