Two common loons were seen on Monona Bay of Lake Monona in the morning 03/23. There are 6 loons on Monona Bay 03/24.

Ice-out occurred on Monona Bay from noon through midnight 03/22 with an unconfirmed Common Loon sighting at 2pm that day. The main body of Lake Monona still has mostly ice, opening fast.
