Started establishing backyard habitat 3 years ago. Have hummer friendly plants, seed plants (zinnias, coneflowers,etc.) for other birds, and milkweed for butterflies. Have spotted over 65 different species of birds in the backyard or woods behind my fence. Keep a brush pile and let the garden stay in tack during the winter to allow birds to eat seeds and berries all year round.
