I have been hearing a robin in the area for several days but haven't seen the first one until this evening. As I pulled into the driveway, the song was almost piercing so I knew that there was one very close by. I stood outside and scanned my landscape towards the sound. At the very top of the maple tree in my front yard, there he was and singing up a storm ... literally. Now I know that spring weather isn't too far off even if the current temperature readings say otherwise.
