Noticable lack of monarch's this year, I have only had the one sighting and usually have a high number. I landscape for hummingbirds and the butterfly's like the misters and many of the same flowers. Have butterfly (milkweed) plants, but my mature penta's where killed down to the roots in the freeze this year, lack of suitable flowers may be contributing to the lack of traffic in addition to the cooler weather this winter and spring.
