We live in Santa Fe, Tx. We are members of the [Galveston] Bay Area Master Naturalists.
We have been raising Monarch nectar and host plants for years. In the past we have done pupa Monarch counting and sent the information in as required to MN.

So far this March I have only seen 2 Monarch's past through.

So far this spring we have 4 medium size and 8 small tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) plants and many nectar plants to start the spring season. We are having to replant due to the freeze.
