Spring is arriving fast in the Park Rapids MN area this year. Yesterday, 6 new species of birds were observed just north of town. Wood ducks, Goldeneyes, Hooded Mergansers, Blue bills (Scaup) Retailed Hawks, and Am. Kestrel. I also had a student tell me they saw sea gulls of some sort yesterday.
