We spotted an adult monarch, very fresh-looking at the Houston Arboretum and Nature Center (zip code 77024) on Wednesday morning. I later read an article in the newspaper concerned with the low number of monarchs spotted so far this year. On Ssturday, 03/27/10, I spotted another adult while mulching beds at my home.
