Saw something large in the top of the largest tree across the lake maybe 300 yards from my living room window. Thought it might be some kind of bird. Couldn't identify it with my cheapo $10 binoculars so I went about my business as I had to go run some errands. I left my house about 15 minutes later and as I left the neighborhood saw something large out of the corner of my eye. A HUGE bald eagle with white head and tail was on an ice flow picking at something. I sat and watched it for about 5 or ten minutes before it flew off to the northeast end of our lake and disappeared.
