March 19th, there was a single male and a female feeding on a flowering bush in the yard. The male appeared to be wooing the female. A week later on March 27th, late afternoon, the weather turned stormy, winds were slightly gusty and dark clouds were rolling in from the west - I sat next to the same bush and watched 10-12 rufus hummingbirds feed, fight, and engage in their typically mating rituals.
