After having a day of warm (45 degree) sunshine, the weather may have been the inspiration for a robin singing a full robin song this morning. It wasn't particularly loud (and it was 39 degrees at 8 am) but it was a full song. I also noted chestnut-backed chickadees building a nest in a bird box. They used that box last year, so I had cleaned out the old nest material so they could re-use it this season. Must be spring in Juneau, Alaska!
