My daughter Brighton is studying butterflies in her first grade class. She really likes the migration map and actually saw a Monarch Butterfly today and asked if she could report it. Here is her report:
"At 3:01 p.m. we saw just one Monarch Butterfly that landed on our fence. It stayed on our fence for about 10 minutes. It looked very healthy, pretty, and had a nice shape."
