a yellow-bellied sapsucker visted our feeding area today. it was the first seen here this yr. was probably attracted by the choke cherry trees and maples we have here. we still have birds from the winter but seeing hairy, downy peckers less, less tit mouses, less northern flicker, haven't seen fox squirrel in a while, which was random to begin with. the squirrel feeder brings in the gray sq. regularly, turkeys too. deer and other things at night as evidence by scat. ... spotted a small white butterfly today the 31st
