It has been my experience that if you plant parsley the swallowtails
will come and lay eggs all over it, the caterpillars will hatch and eat it right down to the ground, and in the fall you will have cocoons everywhere. Don't know if this is a good idea or bad idea, but it's what happened to me several times. I have given up planting parsley.
