While walking our 19+ acres today, I noticed small green leaves just about to burst open on our lilac bushes! We also have some kind of hybrid peony bush with a woody stem that has red leaves opening slightly! The yellowjackets and wasps have been active today, as well as hundreds of ballooning spiders riding the air currents!
