All Other Signs of Spring

Date: 03/30/2010

Number: 1

March 30th, 2010 my class and I went outside. The temperature was 45.6 degrees Fahrenheit or 4.9 degrees Celsius. I still wore a warm jacket. Some of my classmates didn't wear a jacket at all. 12 hrs. 42 mins. is the length of daylight, almost 2 hrs. more than our February observation. The wind speed was 11 mph. The wind chill was 33 degrees Fahrenheit. The ground still had a bit of snow, but it is still damp. The sun was peeking through the clouds. I saw black birds and crows. I also saw geese. The bulbs of the flowers are starting to grow. The grass is getting greener. This is what I saw and felt outside.
