Backyard Habitat: Milkweed beds plus nectaring plants throughout the season bring in Monarchs from late May until cold fall winds push them south in Mid to late September. A rain garden intermingled provides for ample moisture during the entire season. Typically get 200 to 300 Monarch eggs per year, plus anywhere from 100 to 1,000 migrating Monarchs in the fall.
