Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/03/2010

Number: 1

I usually see a hummer by April 1st every year. My twin called me this morning to see if I had seen one. I told her no. I decided to flash something red in the window just to see and low and behold the tiny male ruby throated hummingbird appeared looking fabulous in his little tuxedo and his darling tiny black head looking right at me. Thank god for the precious little flying jewels.
