All of our tulips have emerged! Eight of our plants have buds. Six of our buds are showing a bit of red. Last week it rained all week long. Some places in Portland got 8 inches of rain. Our CT river is overflowing our Fairground. The past 3 days it has been unusually warm. The temperature got into the mid to upper 70s. This is about 20 degrees above normal. We looked at some other spring flowers and noticed that the daffodils are taller than our tulips. We wonder why? We also wonder if all our tulips will bloom? Why did some of our tulips make buds and not others?
