Barn Swallow (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/02/2010

Number: 1

I am sure they were here before today, but I have just seen several pairs of barn swallows nesting in the nest boxes outside the recycling depot and dump - they seem to be quite at home. weather this week is summer-like - +20C today under very sunny skies. swallows are dancing in the air and setting up their housekeeping, ignoring the people visiting with their recycling.
