oohhh- can't believe it but it's true- the red maples are leafing out along highway 7 between Madoc and Marmora... the weather has been soooo warm - it was 20C this Easter weekend and the spring peepers just started singing on the 1st of April - the heat and the sun are warming up the ground and the buds are swelling on the lilacs as well. could hardly believe my eyes when I saw the red maple leaves out on the trees... amazing!!
