Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/05/2010

Number: 1

While watering my Louisiana Iris garden, I noticed a Monarch flying around the Azeala bushes that are in full bloom in my yard. Although we have not had much rain recently, the abundant spring blooms prevail and are providing a food source for butterflies and bees alike.
