Practice Report (Any Species)

Number: 1

Hi,
Our Advanced Reading Class went outside as they are looking for signs of spring. As you can see, we are very, very far north! Right on the Canadian border!

I have some wonderful students who are eager to learn about spring and phenology. They saw some leaves emerging in our school's courtyard today. They also saw a very active ant hill. The tiny animals were crawling around seeking a food source.

We also traced the shadow of a stationary object at exactly 1:45 PM.

Happy Spring,

Jenny Moorman and her "scientists"
