I saw our first yellow swallowtail floating over my butterfly garden. It landed on the forsythia that are just starting to bloom. I wish I had my camera but they're always very shy anyway and it's hard to get the perfect photo. The fritillaries on the other hand love to pose and open their wings wide for me.
