Bear Creek Community Charter School has had milkweed growing in an area of our yard for over 10 years. One of our past teachers planted it and we observe it every year for growth and the wildlife that inhabit it.

We recently created a formal garden area that we plan on having milkweed in as well. Providing a garden or even a small area of milkweed is a marvelous way to introduce people to nature.

Greening our lives and curriculum is easy to do and beneficial for humans and wildlife alike!
