When we came back from Spring Break all of our tulips had fully bloomed. Since we were on a two week vacation, we are uncertain as to when they bloomed (between 3/20/10 - 4/4/10). We did have one plant that appears to have been eaten by something. In our experimental garden EVERY plant has bloomed (including the one planted at a depth of 54 cm). We believe that our tulips may have emerged and bloomed early due to their location next to the school building, and that the heat of our school in the winter MAY have altered the conditions.
