1. The tree buds are breaking, and for the first time I've seen, the Weather Channel posted the pollen levels in the air, including moderate for maple and poplar.

2. Toronto is on the far west end of Carolinean Canada, while the east end seems to represent another zone. I noticed today that magnolia buds are about to break. These have been planted in front of Toronto homes and survive our winters.
