Our first classroom test garden tulip bloomed today. It was cool windy and partly cloudy today. The ground was muddy because it rained on the sixth of April. We are excited because we think we might have a bluebird family nesting in a bird house near our tulip garden. We have 6 tulips blooming in our fourth grade garden. It might have been more if some animals hadn't eaten some! We have 27 buds and we are anxious to see them bloom. We have observed that most bulbs have several buds.
