This past week we experienced above average temperatures in Salem temperatures reaching into the 80's. This temperature spike was enough to officially welcome Spring. As of today approximately 15 of our 300 tulips have bloomed and we hope by early next week we will be able to report a sea of red. Students went outside, took measurements, observations, and made predictions. This has been a great ongoing long term study as we look forward to observing the tulips in the coming month.
