Unusually warm weather and sunshine for this time of year.
Most of our tulips are in full bloom and very large this year.
One bed of tulips, on a north facing bed, with little sun, has buds but no blooms yet.

Note: All of our tulips are planted close to walls or the school, as we have no other space. We are looking at the effect of micro climates on the tulip beds; available sunlight, soil temperature, nearby building, wall, walkway or street, etc.
